An introduction to Thoughts and character research center
Thoughts and character research center is subordinated to School of Politics and Administration. It undertakes three public compulsory course----"Thought Morals Tutelage And Legal Foundation"、 "Chinese Near Contemporary history Summary"、 "Situation And Policy" ,and five public elective course ----"Sociology"、"Psychology Introduction"、 "Public Psychology"、 "Personality Psychology"、 "Present Age World Economics And Politics" for the undergraduate students in Xi’an University of Finance and Economics. It plays an important role to the university in the education of system Marxism, and helps the students to build a correct outlook on world、life and values, and bring up the socialist builders and successors.
Thoughts and character research center has 13 teachers (1 professor, 7 associate professor, 3 lecturers, 2 teaching assistants; 1 Dr., 10 Master, 2 Bachelor) and 65 part-time teachers. They are both the advocates at Marxism and CPC’s policies, and the disseminators at the core values of socialism.
In recent years, Thoughts and character research center has done a lot of work at the teaching curriculum reform, the study of ideological and political theory, the implementation of the new curriculum programs and the development of college, and achieved many important results. It is fully affirmed by the education committee of the provincial party committee and the leaderships of the provincial education department and the institute, and welcomed by the university students. |
