Department of Politics and Public Administration
Department of Politics and Public Administration was established at 2003. Currently there are 16 teachers at the department, among whom 2 are professors, 5 are associate professors, 3 are prelectors, and 6 are teaching assistants.
We undertake professional courses in our subject，also postgraduate courses and undergraduate courses in our college. The postgraduate courses are Theory and Practice of Scientific Socialism and Studies on Rural Political Sociology. The undergraduate courses are Introduction to Maoism, Deng Xiaoping Theory, Introduction to the important thought of Three Represents, Instruction of Contemporary International Economy and Politics, Outline of Modern and Contemporary History of China, etc. Taking good care of teaching, all of us do a Good Job of scientific research. The directions of research mainly are Chinese Politics and Social Development in Rural Areas of China, Marxism Politics, Marxist Theory and Ideological and Political Education, International Politics. In the recent years，we undertakes approximately 10 ministerial and provincial research projects，obtained a series high-quality academic achievements. After several years efforts，we have been build up a faculty with reasonable age structure , higher ability of research and full of self-features. Based on the policy and guidelines of our party and our nation，we would like to strengthen cooperation and communication with experts and organizations in related field at home and abroad，which can enhance our mutual understanding , and devote to the prosperity and progress of Chinese political science. We hope earnestly to obtain continuous responses and supports from domestic and overseas friends.
